VIAPAQ, A COMPANY FROM THE NETHERLANDS, ACQUIRED TEPCOMP OY
By acquiring Tepcomp, Viapaq Group further expands its competence in product development and technology. In addition, Tepcomp’s production facilities in Turku, Finland and Kuressaare, Estonia, further add to Viapaq’s capacity and product range. Viapaq’s sales organisation strengthens Temcomp’s growth. Pekka Leppälä, who will continue as Tepcomp’s CEO, is satisfied with the deal, which improves the conditions for further implementing Tepcomp’s growth strategy.
Jouko Pelkonen, Canelco’s Tepcomp manager, is also pleased with the acquisition. During last year’s investment period, despite the challenging market situation, Tepcomp was able to sustain its profitable and tightly focused growth, which resulted in overall good returns from the investment. In 2014, Tepcomp’s turnover was EUR 6.1 million and the company’s profitability was good.
